Wing Flaps        20°
Air speed          60 KIAS
Select field and FLY over IT
Radio & electrical equipment     OFF
Wing Flaps    30° on final
Master Switch  OFF
Doors unlatched prior to touch down
Touch down  TAIL SLIGHTLY LOW
Ignition switch     OFF
Apply heavy Brakes

ENGINE FAILURE DURING TAKE OFF RUN

Throttle      IDLE
Apply   BRAKES
Flaps;     RETRACT
Mixture   IDLE CUT OFF
Ignition;   OFF
Master switch     OFF

ENGINE FAILURE AFTER TAKE OFF

Nose down for Glide
Air speed  65 KIAS(Flaps up)
                60 KIAS(Flaps down)
Check Engine failure cause if time permits and then
Mixture  IDLE CUT OFF
Fuel selector valve OFF
Flaps As required
Master switch     OFF
Select the field 45° ahead
DON?T TURN BACK
Call on R/T if time permits

ENGINE FAILURE AT HIGHT

Gain height with extra speed
Airspeed 65 KIAS (Flaps UP)
               60 KIAS(Flaps DOWN)
Turn towards airfield or select field for force landing

Check Engine failure cause

Check      GAUGES
Fuel selector valve   ON BOTH
Mixture      RICH
Carburetor heat AS REQUIERED
Primer    IN and LOCKED
Master   ON
Ignition switch   ON BOTH
Pull starter, Engine will restart other wise MAY DAY call on R/T

Mixture Idle Cut    OFF
Fuel selector valve    OFF
Ignition switch       OFF
Flaps      AS REQUIRED
Master Switch    OFF
UNLATCH DOORS PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN
Touchdown SLIGHTLY TAIL LOW
Apply HEAVY BRAKES
