Fuel selector valve            ON BOTH
Trimmer                            NEUTRAL
Control movements      FULL & FREE
Master switch            ON
Ignition switch          ON  BOTH
Primer           IN & LOCKED
Mixture         RICH
Carburetor heat            COLD
Temperature            GREEN
Oil pressure                 GREEN

MAGNETO CHECK

Open throttle             1700 RPM
Check Magnetos individually
Drop of RPM from BOTH to RIGHT or LEFT should be less than 125 RPM
Difference between RIGHT & LEFT magnetos should be not more than 50 RPM
Flaps            AS REQUIRED
Gyros & Gauges       CHECKED & SYNCHRONIZED
R/T permission     READY FOR DEPARTURE

SHORT FIELD TAKE OFF

Wing Flaps   10°
Apply Brakes
Throttle   FULL OPEN
Release BRAKES
SLIGHTLY TAIL LOW
CLIMB SPEED   53KIAS (until all obstacles are cleared)
