WHEN SOMEONE DOES MISTAKE OTHER SUFFER
WHEN PILOT DOES MISTAKE HE HIMSELF SUFFERSPRIVATE PILOT LICENSE (PPL): This is your first step to fly. If you are 17 years of age , mentally and physically fit� (Cleared CAMB)� and passed your Secondary school examination or equal, you can start your training as a pilot.(Airline prefers a graduate) Maximum duration for approved course is six months and minimum 40 hours of flying. If you are flying just for fun, just go for PPL.
COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE (CPL):� This� is minimum requirement for job in airline and general aviation. After securing PPL your CPL training will start.There are different stages of flying and ground work which you have to complete within 18 months and minimum 150 flying hours.
AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT LICENSE (ATPL): This is the license for which most of pilots dream with an air line job(Pilots who choose flying as a career). You can not command without ATPL in airline. For this license you should have 1500 hours in your log book and different types of rating and your commitment with aviation.
The awarding body of above licenses is Civil Aviation of Pakistan. Multan Flying Club train you and guide and help for examinations.
RATING: Their are different types of ratings which prepare you for different conditions of flight.
NIGHT RATING & PASSENGER RATING: If you are flying just for fun and not going for CPL or ATPL then you require these ratings. For NIGHT rating you have to fly 10 hours at night. If you want to fly with your loved ones, go for PASSENGER RATING. You should have at least 100 hours in your log book. These ratings are not required if you have CPL or ATPL.
INSTRUMENT RATING: You can not fly below Visual Metrological Condition (VMC), or at night without this. Because you lost visual contact with ground. Only aircraft instruments help to keep you level and straight. If you are flying any above condition you should have instrument rating.
AIR CRAFT TYPE RATING: AT least 7 hours of flying the same aircraft type (single and multi engine)
